How to encourage growth while washing your hair

Here are FOUR amazing ways to encourage growth while massaging your hair

USE A SHAMPOO BRUSH

Shampoo brushes are a must as they help exfoliate and stimulate your scalp, and ultimately encourages growth. You can use a small, round shampoo brush that slides right onto your hand or if all else fails you can also use your fingers. Apply light to medium pressure while you shampoo, gently part your hair, and massage in a circular motion.

FINGER DETANGLE WITH YOUR FAVOURITE OIL BEFORE YOU SHAMPOO

If you have dandruff or inflammation, peppermint oil can help cool your scalp. Try some cool combinations like peppermint and tea tree or lemongrass or even rosemary. Or simply use Jamaican Black Castor (Extra Dark) mixed with light jojoba oil to massage your whole head, especially your edges if you wear protective hairstyles.

ADD IN A LITTLE PROTEIN Take every opportunity you can to strengthen your hair by adding almond or peanut oil to your shampoo (nut allergy alert). These oils are packed with protein and assist in revitalizing dry, brittle strands (and split ends), which negate length retention. Best to keep it in the shower and simply pour in a capful. You might want to go see a hair specialist if your breaks easily, is shedding, is brittle and tangles easily or has visible split ends.
